Every nation needs a platform that can reflect its national and spiritual values and cultural heritage. Our platform is called "Blue Screen". Therefore, the work done by the National Television and Radio in the direction of introducing Azerbaijan to the international community, delivering our country's rich heritage - culture, arts, literature - to the world and propagating it is invaluable. This was emphasized by the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, during his meeting with the employees of "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" CJSC, stating that "Azerbaijani Television is the national mirror of our people".
Azerbaijani television shows us not only to ourselves but to the whole world. In the modern era, our main television creates an epic of rich broadcasts on various fields. It plays the role of an encyclopedia for future generations by demonstrating the unprecedented historical victories and national spiritual values of our people.

"International Radio SMM International Radio International Radio first went on air with its broadcasts on July 20, 1941. Throughout its history, it has been known by various names such as Foreign Broadcasts Bureau, Foreign Broadcasts Radio, and Foreign Broadcasts Studio. Since 1994, under the directive of the prominent political leader and statesman Heydar Aliyev, it has been named Azerbaijan International Radio. Formerly known as "Voice of Baku," it now broadcasts under the title "Voice of Azerbaijan," aiming to independently and sovereignly deliver Azerbaijan's true voice and realities in various languages to the world.
Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) implements extensive reforms at International Radio. These reforms encompass improving the broadcasting policy, enhancing content quality, and introducing new programs. Renewing the content of broadcasts and transitioning to digital platforms are primary priorities at International Radio. Major directions of reforms at International Radio include improving broadcast quality, enriching broadcast content, and implementing innovations in program policies. In 2024, the format of current broadcasts on International Radio in 12 languages was enhanced with new programs. Broadcasts in Azerbaijani under the title "Voice of Azerbaijan" occur four times daily, in Turkish twice daily, in Russian six times daily, in English five times daily, in French five times daily, in Persian twice daily, in Arabic twice daily, in Armenian five times daily, in Georgian twice on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, twice daily in ethnic minorities such as Lezgi on Mondays and Wednesdays twice daily, in Talysh on Tuesdays and Thursdays twice daily, and in Kurdish on Tuesdays and Thursdays twice daily. Daily broadcasts in these languages include news, discussions on current issues, interviews, and artistic programs. In December 2024, International Radio launched a special project. It began live streaming on YouTube. Live broadcasts are conducted twice a day, five days a week, from 13:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 18:00. These broadcasts cover current public-political topics, Azerbaijan's foreign policy, state-building efforts in Karabakh, the "Great Return" project, facts and responses based on Azerbaijan's information warfare, and lively discussions related to our culture. Due to Azerbaijan Republic being recognized as a multicultural and tolerant country, particular attention is paid to this area. Starting from March 2025, newly prepared broadcasts in a new format will further enrich the content of International Radio. Programs dedicated to historical, cultural, diplomatic, and national-spiritual values are targeted at a broad audience.

Reforms implemented at International Radio have strengthened its position in the field of information broadcasting. Enhancing broadcast quality, increasing the number of languages, implementing innovations in program policies, and actively participating in digital platforms such as live broadcasts on YouTube have expanded the listener audience. As a result of these reforms, International Radio aims to strengthen its role as a carrier of Azerbaijan's cultural heritage, historical truths, national-spiritual values, and modern development both domestically and internationally, thereby enhancing its role as an information and cultural transmitter.
